what is this?

urithiru is a tower that watches whether i'm still around. it's a dead man's switch wired into the stuff i already use every day, so it doesn't need me to check in anywhere on purpose.

it watches my devices and a handful of signals off them: whether they're connected, when someone last touched one, what kind of thing i'm generally doing. it doesn't publish what i'm actually typing or looking at. just the shape of it.

if i go quiet for long enough, this escalates. first it just waits. then it starts asking louder, stage by stage, until people who should know get told something's wrong.
